I read this as a standalone and enjoyed this book. Fake dating is always a fun trope and I enjoyed the interaction between Emily and Quinn. I now need to read back to the rest of the series and learn more about the characters.

I always plots involving a road trip with a grandparent and starting over. I love seeing grandma again and learning about her background and her romance. I love how grandma was so funny and meddling and helping Jenna heal. The romance between Joe and Jenna was sweet.

I had to listen to this to see who Charlie choose. I was not happy with the continued arrangement and her wavering and being unfair to both men. It made sense who she chose but it wasn't the person I wanted. I am not sure this has a HEA for anyone.

I don't know why I decided to listen to this book knowing it is a love triangle. I am not a fan of them and this was a total get your popcorn and watch the wreckage kind of book. It's messy and I felt Charlie was really selfish. Despite it, I need to continue the series and see what happens.

Thank you @stmartinpress for a copy of this book. I felt this title was a bit misleading and thinking this book about is about the days that AC disappeared. This book really focuses on Nan, who is the mistress to Archie. It flashes between to what happens to Nan and the present with the police looking for AC. I enjoyed the story and the complexity of marriage, love and the affects of war.

This book was okay for me. I thought I would feel Elsie's pain if losing your love that you have known for a short period of time but it didn't make me cry or gut wrenched. Maybe I am just cold hearted. I wanted to see what made their love so strong and special and the flash back didn't give me much of that. It just felt like normal courtship. I enjoyed seeing how Elsie navigate a relationship with Ben's mom and the complexity of them grieving and moving on.

I loved TLH and also the 3 STEM novellas that was so fun. This one was okay for me. I liked that it was another smart female with Bee but I got a bit annoyed with her.

Here's my rub with this book:
-  First 25% of the book ... nothing happens. I almost DNF but continued since so many loved it
- Bee's insistence that Levi hated her despite he telling her multiple times that he never did
- The mysterious cat at NASA. When there is so much high tech, that is just way impossible to let a stray in
- It kind of creeped me out that Levi was pining for Bee after the first meeting and he hasn't met anyone despite knowing she was engaged
- The ending was over the the top for me

Thank you @berkelyromance for a copy of the book.

Wow!! I have never experienced a story with pictures. I loved how the story progressed and kept me wanting to know what was happening. All the characters were so questionable with the exception of Teddy - he was so cute. I wished they didn't have the epilogue and felt it was unnecessary.

Thank you @tlcbooktours for a copy of this book. I always enjoy reading family dramas and this was so messy and complex. The first part of the book before Toby's accident was a little slow but the story intensified after that.

My heart broke for everyone with Toby's accident and can see how it can destroy a marriage. A great family drama.

Thank you @berkleyromance for this small town second chance romance. It was sweet and no steam and I enjoyed the interaction between Sandy and Hank. I enjoyed the flash back to lead to their breakup and seeing how they rekindled their romance. There's not a whole lot of tension in the story, I wished that Julia created more conflict in the story.
