A beautiful book about 3 different kind of loss with 3 characters. I love how each of the characters are told separately and slowly interwoven together. The story is well told and you root for all of them to find happiness.

DID NOT FINISH: 30%

Thank you @putnambooks for a copy of this book. I DNF this at 30%. I was expecting this to be a game with romance but this felt more like game focused and I wasn't getting the romance between Jess and Carter. The game wasn't grabbing my attention to keep reading.

An unsolved mystery of missing sisters and one returns unharmed a few years later. The story is told by Cass, one of the sister and Abby the forensic specialist that was assigned to the case. We learn about Cass and Emma through the past POV and the present with Cass and Abby's POV. I loved how the story unraveled and my heart broke for Cass and Emma with their dysfunctional family. I their mom is one of the most hated character I have read.

I thought the premise of this book was such an interesting but heartbreaking aspect on slavery in America. I think I would've enjoyed this more maybe not in audio format -the narration was great, it was too many characters. I never really knew who POV was speaking and so I was not as vested in the story.

This was one of the best meet cute moments I have read in awhile. I am not a huge fan of insta- love so this knocks this book down a bit. I thought this was a fun and entertaining read. Roxy was tough to like. Totally get her constant hustling to make it in New York but her attitude towards Louis and his wealth kind of turned me off.

Thank you @dreamscape_media for a copy of this audiobook. I have enjoyed the author's Say Anything Series and enjoyed this MFF romance. This book is mainly about O'Neal coming of age and discovering herself. I love the forbidden romance between O'Neal with Auden as well as his attraction to Lennox. Lots of steam in the story. I wanted to see more relationship development between these characters, the story felt mostly internal battle about the relationship and then sex.

Thank you @macmillan.audio for a copy of this. For a novella, this story is so packed with so much. From the river flooding to the prisoners sent to help with it. I love how everyone has their own agenda while trying to figure out how to escape the rising river. The narration was amazing on this and I felt the intensity of the situation.

Thank you @berkleyromance @prhaudio for a copy of this book.

A book about a food influencer and food critic - I am here for it! I enjoyed the banter between Bennet and Julie and their foodie adventures and different take on food. I was not a fan of Julie - her actions were a bit immature and her comparison of have and have nots annoyed me. The description of food was all so yummy, I need to go on a food tasting adventure.

Thank you @prhaudio for a copy of this book. Sometimes it pays off to read something out of my comfort zone and this is one of these times. A book about told in 3 POV in about a virus and apocalypse setting in a snow storm. There's 3 narrators for Hannah, Meg and Carter. I love how the story is told independently and how they merged together. There was some gore that grossed me out. Overall, a tense fast pace thriller with some unexpected twists.

This was an enjoyable enemies to lovers, forbidden, unrequited love. The story felt a little long and a lot of sex which normally doesn't bother me but this felt like the sex scenes were added to fill the pages. I have a hard time with Dominic's attraction to Sloan and loved her for so long while not really knowing her.
