Very sweet & entertaining. Probably won’t reflect back on this one too much but it’s a sweet story with an enemies to lovers vibe and lots of forced proximity.
emotional reflective

The author looks back on her grief and complicated childhood in a very captivating way.

The blurbs all say it’s “sexy & literary” but it’s not, it’s gritty but only for the sake of being “edgy”.

Very good if you are looking for more action than intimacy in YA fantasy. Characters, world building & pacing were all really good.

Mixed feelings. I liked the 80s-90s parts that were what I remembered from my youth, rewatches or saw on Young Rock; getting more context there was fun.

I already know Vince is nuts. John Oliver Last Week Tonight in 2019 illustrated this perfectly in under 30 mins

I expected more insight to the political affiliations &media manipulation based on the title &that was not the main focus. There was way more about Bret Hart than Donald Trump.

It was entertaining & the action toward the end was intense. The “snoopscribers” got annoying on audio but it’s a small complaint
