Total guilty pleasure read, but the pacing is ridiculous, all drama, all action, no filler. So good. Lots of secrets exposed  in book 2, but a couple of these girls just dug themselves into deeper holes, so I’m sure there’s no shortage for book 3. 

I liked Perry, Pauline and the other characters. My only complaint is that there should have been more breadcrumbs for the reveal of the mystery.

At first there are too many perspectives but it does come together. Similar to Under the Dome in that a strange disaster hits a small town & everyone shows their best or worst selves.

I’m not going to hate on Rachel (too much), it took guts to be honest about this (ridiculous) situation. I’ve been around people who are a vortex, one can’t help but get caught up in their insanity. Anna could have been a cult leader if she didn’t care more about shoes & instagram pics. 

 

The book itself; mostly it is just Rachel relaying text messages or rehashing disputes with credit card companies. &No one comes off as particularly bright.

I’ve been holding out on this one for a while, I was worried about what would happen but it was really good. Nesta was relatable, and the 🌶️ was top tier. 

 

It had pacing issue as some of the other books did. & I would have liked better explanations for a FEW things. 

But it was really good. 

Pretty convoluted, both the plot & the characters seem inconsistent.

Loved it. Great way to wrap up the series. This one in particular was really fast paced. Big fan of the whole series, very few things I could nitpick about it.

I find the tropes not to be as overdone as other comparable series, there is some predictable moments but the characters move forward from them. I’m impressed & excited to read what’s next.

Complaint about the audio, Solero generally does a great job at conveying the emotions and the ferver… however sometimes the voices she does start blending together, a sentence will start and it’s in the Tairn voice even though it’s Violette speaking etc as if the didn’t know whose dialogue we were on & didn’t take a second pass on it.

Nothing happened for 2/3rds of the book, then suddenly it became terrifying & weird. Also did not care about the love story.

Poirot investigates a murder & uncovers a missing will that could be the key. Told from the perspective of his friend who sometimes thinks he’s a crackpot
