At the moment, this is just not it for me. I wanted to try for the bookclub but I can't make myself.

I don't know exactly why this isn't working... maybe its the formatting? Maybe it's the way it feels rambley? 

Maybe I'll come back to it in time.

I cannot power through another meh alien romance and this one had me cringing far too many times already. I did not need reminding 4-5 times at this point that "he'd get revenge on any of these living humans that may be involved" or that "she hoped her secret would never get out." I get it. Also, the fated mates thing was literally INSTANT and sometimes I just can't.

On to find something better. 

I would only be reading this to power through and I just can't. I considered the 1st book entertaining enough but I cannot say the same here. The worldbuilding is so lackluster - I shouldn't be wondering what "Starblessed" even means in the 2nd book. The magic does not really make sense. And the characters interactions are so 1 dimensional. The series kind of feels like the author had a list of tropes she wanted to write and then tried to build a story around those. 

 DNF @ 11%. I got caught up by that pretty cover. The writing is really juvenile and even though it's only 97 pages, I just don't have time for that. 

Will come back to it. just want to clean up my reading shelf

Finished what were the first two books from the trilogy. Paused on the third and just never picked it back up. Will come back to the last book eventually 

not in the mood and putting it on hold until i can get a copy of the audio book from my library

Just not into the story as much as I thought I'd be. It's fine but definitely not as good as Zoey Draven's other series. 

Just lost interest about halfway through...
