 Oh- OHHH. Wow. Okay, I get it.

For a good 70% of the book, I was mildly engaged. Enjoyable but nothing groundbreaking. AND THEN!!!!

Chat, when is book 3 supposed to be out? Because I have a feeling that book 2 is going to leave me desperate.

 

A soft DNF for now. I fear simply being hot and horny is not enough to keep my interest right now. 

 DNF @ 58% (according to the KU book)

I slept on it and I actually can't get past the unnecessary use of the r slur.

It's not "characterization". It's actually just proof to me that out of all the words in the human language, that's the one you chose to describe something that your character thought was stupid/distasteful. (Believe me, readers can infer that guy is an asshole without it.) 

 We don't have to have a happily ever after. It might be a little too early to start imagining that. But, also... maybe we could?

Brb just WEEPING over how perfect this was 🥹😭🩵 

An audiobook recommendation for sure!! Danez Smith narrates and just gives their poetry so much depth and emotion. Angry, Sorrowful, Desperate, Hopeful- This collection is beautiful

🥲 Hey, I really wanted to love this but WOW did I struggle through most of it. So much A/B/O potential! Squandered 😔

It was all of the inconsistencies that really made it hard for me to stay in the story- characterization, plot, (& dumb details that truly don't matter in the grand scheme of things but just really grated once I noticed them.)

I will remember Game On with great fondness. This one, not so much. 

 SHUT THE FUCK UP 😭🩷
