What a fantastic conclusion to this series!! Shane and Ilya being brought back, along with all the other characters from the past, was perfect! I'm seriously considering reading the whole series over again!

I now understand the hype. As adorable as I thought Ilya and Shane were, this book is their real story. It wraps up the series in a really wonderful way from the hockey camp that they run where they have sort of made their own Queer Collective to Shane finally realizing just how much Ilya has given to be with him. The need for them both to have support as a secret like this, no matter how strong the love is, is going to take a toll. From the support and the lack of it, this book was amazingly well done.

Reasons I Recommend:

1) It will break your heart and if you didn’t get at least one tear you’re a liar

2) The way the league tried to hide everything was actually so awful and I really hope Crowell is replaced as soon as possible and

3) Ottawa is the best hockey team ever and it’s incredible how so much support can make everything so much better.

From Chiron to Troy to Hayden to the first wedding to the big fight to the reveal to finally seeing these boys get their happily ever after. It was well worth the wait.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Quote: We are very good at pretending to not be in love. Maybe we are bad at showing it when we are allowed.
