Sawyer & Fin by Zeia Jameson is an excellent read. Taking you on a journey of self-forgiveness and realisation this book grips you tight and doesn’t let go until the last page has turned.
“You’d be amazed at what you can forgive your children for.”
Fin is on a path of self-redemption. After she made the worst mistake of her life two years ago, one that cost her more than she cares to admit, she is doing everything she can to turn her life around and walk the straight and narrow. Coaching softball at the school she used to attend her hopes all rest on being able to take the team to the championships for the second year running, And if some people still whisper behind her back? Well she has learnt to live with that and more, it is only what she feels she deserves.
“I don’t think I’m ever going to fully forgive myself… regardless of how anyone tells me I should feel.”
Sawyer needs to lay low. In witness protection he knows he has to keep his head down and out of trouble. Not only does his life depend on it but if he were to be found it would put his family’s life at risk too. And yet, when he meets the enigmatic Fin he can’t help but put himself out there, despite knowing he is all wrong for her. But when it becomes clear that Fin is also hiding from her past Sawyer can’t help but feel they might be just right for each.
“I thought my heart was going to stop beating because I was going to lose you.”
With insurmountable odds seemingly between them Sawyer and Fin struggle with their new relationship. And when the secret that Sawyer is desperate to hide finds him he does the only thing he can; runs.
A great story of how two people can heal each other if they give themselves and their hearts the chance. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, although I would have loved to read more of Sawyer perspective when he was held captive. The switched between perspectives in this book really added to the depth of the story. With strong characters, both pivotal and secondary, this book had everything you could possibly want.

Love love love this book! This was my second Zeia Jameson, and I swear she just gets better and better! Fin (Finley) and Sawyer are a couple of movie buffs that have sordid pasts. Their connection is instant, magnetic, and they feed off of one another is sweet and spicy, much like their personalities. It was endearing reading their progression as they learned to trust each other. Great small-town romance with good realism and fun as well as mystery. I wasn't sure what to expect by the end, and I liked having that surprise waiting for me to console me when I reached the final page.
Sawyer & Fin- Zeia Jameson
4 out of 5 stars
Sawyer & Fin by Zeia Jameson is book 1 in The Adventurous Hearts series. This book is a romantic story with a heavy sports influence. I had many questions from the start as both main characters are really elusive about their past. I was incredibly thankful that my questions were answered in the end and that it wasn’t a to be continued ending. I was surprised by how fast my opinion changed on this book and the characters. For the longest time I felt like I couldn’t connect with them and then all of a sudden I was really intrigued and I needed to know how it was going to end.
I was pleasantly surprised by the ending and how well the characters had developed.
Fin is a young woman who works as both a softball and karate coach. She lives a very routine life; she goes to work, visits her family and spends most of her time at her apartment watching movies. Her life has drastically changed in the last few years; she used to be very carefree living an adrenaline junkie type lifestyle. But her life took a turn after a tragic accident and now she feels guilty about living her life, so she chooses to live her life as simple as possible, until she meets Sawyer. Sawyer is the new guy in town; he’s mysterious, guarded and full of one-worded answers, which only seems to add to his charm. Fin has many questions as to why he’s suddenly in town but her questions go unanswered. She senses that they have a lot of common so she goes out of her way to get to know him. But getting close to him is harder then she thought, will Sawyer let her in or will the fears of his past stop him before she even really has a change?
As I said earlier I was surprised by my feelings towards the characters, I had a hard time connecting with them in the beginning, they didn’t seem to really connect with each other at first but then suddenly it seemed like they were meant to be. It seemed like out of nowhere Sawyer intrigued me, his weird quirks made sense and a lot of my questions were answered as his character developed. Sawyer isn’t your typical main male character, both looks wise and personality wise and Fin was an interesting character as she pursued him and not the other way around. They were both fun characters to read about and I look forward to reading more of Zeia’s work.

Sawyer and Fin is book one of the Adventurous Hearts series by Zeia Jameson. This story is about finding someone, you connect with on such a deep level… you're trying to grasp what you're seeing and feeling.
This is my very first book by Zeia and it definitely won't last either! She writes in such a beautiful way, With such intriguing and complex characters. This book, will have you craving more, you will NOT be able to put it down!!
Fin had it all… a life everyone envied and wanted ! She had the freedom and a very promising athletic career. But one night of poor judgement , changed her life forever and ended in a terrible tragedy. She is desperately trying to keep her sister from making the same mistakes.
Sawyer is manly man, who has no boundaries at all. He is the type to ask for forgiveness before permission. But one night of bad judgement, has him running from someone who isn't willing to forgive him so easily.
Their paths keep crossing one another and they become quite engrossed with one another. They begin to develop some strong feelings and undoubtedly , rules are broken. They both have questionable pasts, they're trying to hide from one another. But will they finally open up and give each other a chance ? Or will their past, come back and haunt them with a vengeance?

Book Review: Sawyer and Fin (book one of the Adventurous Hearts series)
Author: Zeia Jameson
Five Stars
Sawyer and Fin written by author Zeia Jameson is another five star read for me. Sawyer and FIn are both trying to live normal lives now after some of the choices they have made in the last little bit has been the totally wrong choices. This book hints around at what those bad choices may have been and you are just itching to know.
Fin is trying to keep her younger sister from making some bad choices too and by doing so hoping that she will be forgiven for being such a trouble maker herself. Now set on making herself a better person can she handle all that Sawyer brings into her life? What will happen when their worlds collide and they discover they have feelings for each other?
Sawyer is hiding/running from something. He is trying to keep his head down and stay out of trouble but will trouble come looking for him? His isn't used to having to check in and is used to doing his own thing. Now that he has boundaries, he wants to push them.
Can Sawyer and Fin be good for each other or will this just lead to more trouble?
Zeia Jameson is a really good author who pulls us into her story and we want to be there to help Sawyer and Fin keep out of trouble and out of harms way. Will they be able to find the forgiveness they are looking for? Will their pasts catch up to them and cause even more chaos than it all ready has?
GREAT book.

Sawyer and Fin is the first book in the Adventurous Hearst series by Zeia Jameson and a really great read. This is the first book that I have read by this author and I really enjoyed her writing style. The book quickly gripped my attention. One of the things I liked, apart from the characters, is that the author was able to keep the secrets that the characters were hiding an actual secret until they were revealed – and they definitely weren’t secrets I was expecting. I thought the pace of the story was good and it flowed really well. For me this was a sports romance with a twist! I’m not sure I have read anything like it before and so that in itself made it different!
Now onto Sawyer and Fin! I loved them! They both really intrigued me because I was desperate to find out their secrets. I loved how they had this instant connection with each other. The twist at the end was really good and I admit I shed a little tear for Fin at one point! I have to admit thought it took me a little while to find a connection with the characters but as the story went on and they began opening up to each other I found that connection I was looking for. I love a story where you grow to love the characters as they evolve over the story – this is exactly what happened for me with this book.
Fin was a feisty character but it’s clear that her secret and past are holding her back! I loved that she felt that she could be herself with Sawyer, especially as he didn’t know what had happened.
Sawyer really wasn’t what I expected at all – I initially thought he was going to be arrogant and full of himself but he turned out to be a really nice, sweet character whose life is being dictated by a mistake he made.
Sawyer and Fin were also backed up with some great secondary characters and I hope there is more to come from them in the rest of the series! I especially liked Fin’s roommate, Marshal!! There’s a character twists I didn’t expect!!
I would highly recommend this book, especially if you like romance with a sports twist. I know that I am really looking forward to the next book in the series!

Sawyer and Fin: Adventurous Hearts series Book 1 by Zeia Jameson is about connecting to each other from the first look. This story has mystery, suspense and romance all balled up into one. There are some twists and turns in this book that will leave you sitting on the edge of your seat. This is my first story by this author and I enjoyed her writing style, attention to details and her creativity with her characters. The characters she created are kind of mysterious through a lot of this story but that is what makes it interesting and hard to put down. They are connectable and true to life. They pull you in from the moment you meet them in the story. Find out what happens with them as they take you on a journey of mystery and secrets.
Fin had it all, freedom, excitement, and a promising athletic career. Then one night, everything changed for her, everything was taken from her when the night ended in tragedy. Now she is trying to keep her sister from falling into her same foot steps.
Sawyer is a man who asks for forgiveness before permission, he has no boundaries. Then one bad decision has him running from someone who is not so willing to forgive. In order to save his life and stay out of prison, he has had to learn to rely on boundaries.
Their path's keep crossing with mixed feelings of hesitation and curiosity that taunt their emotions. Rules are broken, chances are taken but it all leads down to one thing. Could it lead to the lives they are looking for? Will their relationship grow in their current safe and ordinary lives? Will adventure lead them down a path that they can't return from? They both have their own battles to deal with. But the attraction between them each time they come in contact is getting harder to resist. Will they tell each other their pasts? Will they continue to run from what haunts them? In my opinion they both are strong characters. They both have pasts that they are trying to reconcile but will they come out in one peace once it is confronted? Fin really does not want to see her sister travel down the path she went down but will she be able to keep that from happening? Sawyer really has no boundaries until now. He is not use to them but the big question will be is if can figure out how to keep the boundaries he needs to live by. Some of the secondary characters are supportive of Fin and others are not. Some are just nasty. Find out if they reveal their secrets to each other, if there is forgiveness from others and themselves.
This is my first book by Zeia Jameson and I know it won't be the last. I can't wait to see what else she has for me to read. Zeia's passion for writing has her typing until her fingers grow numb. When she is not writing she enjoys sitting in her reading chair under a warm blanket feeding her addiction of coffee and reading. You will enjoy how her book will pull you in to their world and keep you engaged until the end. It is a fast paced story that will keep you turning page after page. You will need to see if they reveal their secrets and if they have a chance of finding their HEA. I highly recommend this story as I know you will want to see what the mystery is behind their secrets and if they ever quit running from their pasts.

“Live and Love Your Life, One adventure at a Time.”
Sawyer and Fin is the first book in The Adventurous Hearts Series by Zeia Jameson.
Finlay Kennedy (Fin) may appear to have a great life. Her life is quite routine- working as a softball coach, teaching at a karate studio, spending time with her family, or watching movies in her apartment. But this isn’t necessarily the life she wanted and wasn’t always how things were. She used to be an adventurous, adrenaline junkie who lived life to the fullest, until one night when tragedy struck- changing her life in an instant and leaving her with a lot of guilt. For the past two years since the tragedy, she has been seeking some type of redemption and forgiveness. Going out of her way to do good.
Sawyer, is the mysterious new guy in town. He was left with no choice but to leave his home, after making a very bad decision. He is keeping a low profile, with no choice but to follow the rules if he wants to stay alive. When Sawyer and Fin meet the sparks start to fly, but both are cautious of acting on their attraction. The past is controlling both their lives and neither of them is willing to share what happened. As they spend more time together, they can’t help but be drawn to the other more and more, and want to move forward into future with each other. Having to be careful kind of takes the fun out of things, so will the lure of adventure become too much for these two to resist? What happens when Sawyer’s past catches up with him, will he do whatever it takes to stay alive, even if it means leaving?
I had so many questions right from the beginning, and the author kept me hooked right till the end; divulging everything I needed to know along the way and giving me closure at the end. I did have a little trouble connecting with the characters to begin with- but that changed partway through the story. The characters were great and the author let them develop and grow as the story unfolded. Both of them were damaged and carrying a past that they were both desperately trying to reconcile and make right. They were relatable, believable and realistic.
Well worth the read!
Thank you Ms. Jameson!
