This book was a lot heavier than I had expected.

THE END OF THIS BOOK

I must say, I enjoyed this book because of the eloquence of Renee's writing. But that being said the writing didn't hide any of the major issues I had with this book.

The main issue I had was with the length of the book in total. The book was filled with A LOT of fluff to make it longer and seem important that there was as sequel. In my opinion, all of this stuff could've been resolved in the first book. I also felt like there was no one climax and that there were lots of endings to this book like she couldn't pick just one. The last issue I had was with the resolution of the curse and the war because nothing is that easy. If she had wanted to make a more successful sequel to The Wrath and the Dawn she could've added more plot devices and conflict to the war and the curse instead of having so much fluff in the beginning and the end.

Meyer's books never disappoint. This is exactly what I wanted and I didn't even know it.
