I guess I’m really picky with thrillers but this was boring. What? I hated that this was more of a psychiatrist being a detective novel (which is complete bs and unrealistic) because in the end that really had no fucking point. Anyway, I’m over it.
I don’t know if I’m just picking subpar books for my audio book experience or if audiobooks are not for me? Will let you know in the future as my research continues.
3.5 I wish we would’ve gotten more about Pab’s problems in the whole book instead of just at the end. His solution to everything while accurate, didn’t have enough of a fight to actually justify it.
This one was not nearly as good as the first one. I am amazed and sort of appalled at how much information and plot was shoved into 3-4 days. Crasedes was a boring antagonist. Valeria was interesting at the end. I will be finishing this series and I hope the last book is as good as the first.
