Skimmed this. Some useful bits: 1. mapping values (personal vs workplace), 2. having someone fair-minded and trusted to pre-write your obituary to spot any unrealised potential, 3. the idea of a 'minternship' or a millennial internship as a mid-career pivot move in one's 30s.  

Some paragraphs seemed incomplete eg. the one about WhatsApp's number of employees (Chapter 4: Work).

Love the cover design elements reflecting the characters and events of the book: the cat Bon Bon, the main character Saffiyah and her friend, the doors to the Grand Mosque, the landmarks of Paris, the warplanes in the sky and even the oranges by the author's name. A good story for Muslims and non-Muslims alike, and I learnt a lot about this historical moment of Muslims helping Jews. Much needed in these times.

Useful as a guidebook but would work better as a physical or digital book. The tables comparing mutual aid to non-profits and charities don't work well when recited out loud in the audiobook. Otherwise, an okay primer to mutual aid.
