Bro this book had potential to be good but was so bad; the development happened way too quickly and out of nowhere he went from „hating“ her to calling her baby. They never had a real reason to hate eachother and it could have been much better if it was valid and they kept up the banter for at least 100 pages instead of dropping it entirely after like 50😔😔

It was fun until he started to call her baby girl unironically and made her call him daddy 💀💀

It’s so depressing to think about all the medical malpractice that has happened to black people , especially women and it makes me loose a little faith in humanity every time . Still, I think it’s important to tell these stories so that they do not happen again. Rest in Peace Henrietta Lacks
