I want to say this first and foremost, representation matters. I saw so much of myself in Arianna being a black woman. From the description of her curvy hips to her curls she never wanted to get wet to the description of her box braids and then having her braids removed. I loved it. I love her.

Now, DADDY ZAYN. This man is so fine.. So completely cool, calm and collected… so deliciously dominant. Listen, if you love a mafia romance complete with some BDSM, this is for you. The spicy scenes were so hot they had me blushing.

Zayn’s nickname for Ari “Tinkerbell” adds a touch of tenderness to their relationship that I savored throughout reading.
