Her tone was what made me dislike this book so much. I kept rolling my eyes are her words and laughed at phrases that included "must."

Takes all the knowledge and myth surrounding The Shroud of Turin and made it into an almost as good as Dan Brown suspense novel. While this was a somewhat good suspense it is very heavy handed with history of the Catholic Church and Biblical exegesis that a person without any history or exegetical background will get bogged down with info. While he does explain most of the things he talks about, it is helpful to know Christendom history and I was able to follow that logic of the exegetical work, not necessarily agreeing with the outcome Caldwell created. Good book, I got bogged down with the History because I have studied this. Caldwell webbed a very well written story that will definitely will be opted for a script in no time.
