This book hits hard when you can relate to the trauma response Emma exhibits. I highlighted (more like sticky tab) a few areas and had to close the book to process her emotions and my own. This was such an a wonderful book the depicted trauma and how it can impact a person and their relationships. Justin was such a breath of fresh air, cute, funny, thoughtful, and supportive. His way of dating made my heart fill with joy . This book gave me all kinds of feelings! What a delight 

I used to love Nora Roberts’ romances and I was excited to start this but it’s not capturing my attention. I know Clare is a single mother and business owner but her life with kids is stressing me out. Her romance with Beckett is nice and he’s a good guy but this isn’t the life I want to read about. 

Looking forward to reading the next book in this series 

Gabi’s temperament reminds me so much of Eren. Marley us successfully brainwashed her whereas you can see that Falco is able to critically think outside of the propaganda that was fed to them. The anime did a wonderful job of translating this volume to the screen.
