If you are looking for an engaging + clever + hilarious + heart felt book - look no further. Where’d You Go Burnadette is a real page turner in my opinion. This was one of those books that I read through in just a weekend. It’s a real feel good kind of book. Plus they made a movie out of it with actress’s Cate Blanchett, Kristen Wiig, and Judy Greer that was actually pretty decent.

It is rare that I enjoy the ending of a trilogy as much as I enjoy the beginning. This was one of those cases though. From beginning to end, Jojo Moyes paints the story of a girl who is healing + learning + falling in love. I can’t say enough good things about this book. I read it in a single afternoon. Ditto to what I said on After You - just read the whole series!!!

The jury is still out on whether or not I enjoyed this book. There were portions of this book that excited + inspired me, yet there were many more moments that moved me to stop reading it altogether. I suppose I began reading The Immortalists a little too hyped by the high praise I had heard from other readers. My expectations were set too high I suppose. It's a book I won't forget, but was it truly memorable? Will I recommend it to others? I just don't know...

A must read for any creative soul. Will read again.
