This book had me gripped from the first page! I loved that the chapters were only a few pages long as it kept the momentum going throughout.

Although I enjoyed reading this book, I found it a little hollow. It felt like the whole premise was to say something important, to make some great comment on the world, but it simply did not. Sadly it fell a little short in the end. I would still read more of Atkinson’s work as I enjoyed her style of writing.
