I haven't read Shakespeare’s Macbeth since high school, so I feel I don't have the right to truly compare the two. I know that this novel changes a lot of the narrative in Macbeth. 

But, I loved this novel. This was a bold feminist departure from the original and I honestly found it enjoyable. 

While reading this book was quite challenging, I found it so beautiful. This is definitely the type of book where it and its quotes will stick with you. 

This story was so cute, but with some odd moments 😂, I absolutely still loved it as I do with everything in this universe. ALSO, the art in this was stunning oh my gosh

Dare I say the world building in this was even better than the first and so much fun? Genuinely these books are so much fun to read. I’m so excited for the next one

So teenage me would have eaten this up. And lowkey adult me still did. The world building in this was sooo interesting. A lot of this book turned out exactly how I expected and not at all like I expected. I’m so excited to see what happens next
