Short and sweet read for Halloween

Fast paced story with enough magic. mystery and action to hold even a 3 year old's (one that loves magic and monsters) attention.

Meh. Just meh. Loved the VERY short poem "The Uses of Sorrow." . Incredibly underwhelmed by this as a whole, but I didn't hate it.

Post apocalyptic zombie world with a dash of Alice in Wonderland references, sprinkled with relatable politics, and topped with a large portion of the (not so relatable yet tried and true) "unusually skilled, teen savior" main character. Fast paced and fun all the same.
