there is sadly so much nothing happening 

Nothing wrong with the book, I was just not interested enough to continue. 

i’m just not that invested in the story atm / do not feel interested enough to find out what happens / am feeling very bored 

this should've stayed a standalone. I feel like a lot of the things happening are just to extend the pages and do not make sense to me considering how book one felt. additionally, a lot of the same conversations are happening and overall, this book just feels like someone trying to hit the word count in an extra credit essay when they already got an A in the class.
