I loved this book. Kate and her mom have such an awesome relationship, even if it manifests itself in weird ways sometimes. Very cute, very quirky, definitely hilarious.
You will like this if you like: @crazyjewishmom, helicopter moms, laughing while simultaneously being grateful that this isn't your mother
You won't like this if you don't like: sex talk, especially pertaining to vaginas, dildos, and telling your kids about the birds and the bees; moms who are way too involved in their kids lives; again, sex.

This is a textbook for my Cultural Anthropology, but I did enjoy reading it! It was a dense read, but super informative.

I really enjoyed a lot of parts of this book, but it is very dense and can be occasionally hard to follow because of the overlapping interviews.

This book was so interesting! As a person who is passionate about immigration reform, this book was especially powerful. The last chapter brought tears to my eyes.
