When I started reading this book, I wasn't aware of the fact that it is an autobiography. To be honest, it was the cover which took my attention. The story was a bit disappointing and boring in my opinion. I expected more..

I really liked it!

so to be honest, I did not like this book. In the beginning i thought it was OK, but then it became really boring and nothing really happened. I skipped some parts and scanned some parts. This is the first time i did not read an entire book. (normally I do not skip as much as i did now)
I must say I liked the epilogue, but the rest of the novel was just not a match for me..

Dit boek kocht ik gisteren en ik ben meteen begonnen met lezen. Ik vond het een erg interessant boek, het is volgens mij autobiografisch. Het Huis van de Moskee door Kader Abdolah heb ik ook gelezen en ik vond dit zo'n goed boek. De Kraai vond ik ook erg interessant/mooi aangezien het echt een verhaal verteld! :)

I enjoyed reading this one.

Omdat iedereen zo enthousiast over dit boek was, besloot ik het ook maar een kans te geven. Eerlijk gezegd vond ik sommige stukken best naar om te lezen en het eind vond ik niet echt "voldoening gevend"

I enjoyed reading it, it was better than I expected.. on the other hand, the end was very abrupt in my opinion
