3,5 stars. I did enjoy reading Spinning Silver, however, it took me quite a while to get into the story and the different POV's were a bit confusing for me. I loved the ending and the overall plot, but I would love to see more of the characters, some of them felt a bit 'flat'. And also due to the fact that there were so many different POV's, I did not immediately recognize who was 'talking or which storyline I was following.
This book is amazing! I just could not put it down. It’s intense, heartbreaking, heartwarming and also really funny. I also loved the characters and their development.

This wasn't like any book I've ever read before. It was sometimes quite confusing, yet interesting and unique. I enjoyed reading it and there are quite a lot of problematic issues and themes addressed.

Update: re-read 3,5 stars. I still did not enjoy this book as much as I hoped. I liked some of the characters, but I could not really get into the story. I really enjoyed the last +/- 100 pages of the story though.
