What’s the point of having a full cast when nothing happens?

Very engaging writing that gives Stéphane Breitwieser's life and adventures a cinematic flair. Definitely one of the better true crime books out there. Side note: this made me want to rewatch 'National Treasure' lol.

This absolutely had the potential to be one of the longer graphic novel epics with its combo of horror and Greek mythology. What you get is fine for a condensed story, I just would’ve preferred more.

Definitely glad I audiobooked this one. A rec for gothic horror lovers, but otherwise you’ll probably have a better time with a film adaptation.

I legit forgot that this is meant to be for children because the overall story was fantastic. This really made me feel closer to my Pinoy heritage, and I absolutely cannot wait for the next book in this series!

This had everything that I love in a comic (superpowered individuals, political messaging, romance) and this was definitely better than I was expecting it to be. My only woe is that I wish that the artwork was in color purely because it would’ve really brought a lot of big scenes to life.
