I will listen to Richard Armitage read me whatever book he feels like he wants to read. He is a fabulous narrator, the story itself was fine but not great. Too many old-fashioned sexist tropes, like the spirited but clueless young bride and the older/wiser/best at everything/practically omniscient groom.

I was all set to enjoy this, but I got creeped out by the sexually objectifying way the adults kept speaking about a 14-yr-old girl. Then the author wrote a sex scene between this CHILD and an older teenager. No thanks, I’m out.
