Love me a book about France and food! The author moves to France with her husband and two young children in an effort to save her marriage and get her groove back. There's a big helping of relationship stuff alongside the food, which I didn't mind. Was also interesting to read about how convenience foods and giant supermarkets are changing the way the French eat.

This was the first chapter book Henry and I read together. I don't think he really caught the humor in it, but he liked it enough that he wanted to keep going (and wanted to start over again once we were done!). I think it's cute, but not something I would want to read on my own.

I just finished reading this to my 9 and 6 year old. It’s just as great if not better than I remember. I made them stay up past their bedtime so we could finish it!
