I've been waiting for this book for a long time, and now that I've read it... I'm more than a little bit disappointed. I feel like Illarion and Edilyn got cheated out of their story, because a huge portion of the book was just a retelling of Son Of No One and Dragonbane. WTF?! Aside from that, I did enjoy the beginning of the book about how Illy and Eddie met and all of that, but the ending did seem kind of rushed. Maybe if Sherri hadn't wasted so much book space with reusing her previous novels (instead of just condensing it), she would have had some time to actually give Dragonmark a proper ending and Illarion and Edilyn could have gotten the book they deserved. Speaking of Illy's dragonmark, WHY DIDN'T WE GET TO LEARN MORE ABOUT IT? I'm very disappointed overall.
