4.5/5 stars

It's a lovely story of a deaf girl, finding not only love, but also a home.
This might not be the best of love stories/novels but it has great meaning to me since it brought me out of a heavy depression years ago. Don't ask me how. The mind tends to work in curious ways.

I can only say, I love this book dearly and I hope other readers enjoy it too.

3.5/5 stars.
It didn't turn out to be as I thought it would, but it was better that I expected.

I listened to the listen with audrey audiobook version and loved the dramatization.

Also, that ending!! My god, it's so worth reading!

This is the story of Briseis, who's also speaking for the Troyan women.

What I liked the most was Patroclus characterisation. Tbh, I couldn't help but compare this a bit with The Song of Achilles.
This was a good retelling, although I disliked the language the author used, using british slang.

3.75/5 stars.

This is an ingenious way of writing. It traps you and makes you think, imagine, create scenarios in you head.
It has a happy, although open ending.
I've never been a fan of open endings. In fact, I despise them but, this is the exception.

Maggie rocks.

Liz and Daisy were exasperating, honestly.

Topics: Miscommunication trope; pregnancy (not the mc); a cool granny that will give you many laughs.

This book is a joke.
The only nice thing in it is Maggie, Shine and Bryce.

I HATED the ending.
To me, it would have been fantastic if Shane left Rachel and found someone else who did really deserve him and give him all the love he spreads to the world and more. Damn. This book was not for me.
