I enjoyed this and felt it was a good twist on fated mate, I quite liked the time jump in part two especially as this part had a bit more action and that ending had me on the edge of my seat! Though Flaminius and Aurelia where the main characters and i liked the Marcus and Gaia where my favourite characters and hope to see more of them in book two which after that ending I'm looking forward to reading!
Whilst I love a bit of spice and have read why choose books before they've normally been fantasy rather than contemporary/dark romance but this sounded interesting as well as being short and spicy!
I really enjoyed it and liked Sabine though I've not quite choose my favourite boy yet! The spice was good, especially the first and last "scenes" 🌶 🥵. This book isn't just spice there's also a good story and so many questions! Who is Sabine? Who is she to the Rox boys? What will happen with Jax??? Suppose I'll have to wait for book 2 to find out!

So this book gave me kinda Hunger Games vibes with Devlin taking part in the deadly reckonings a competition finishing with a fight to the death for a chance to be the next Alpha. I enjoyed the book and the likes the characters but OMG that ending it was a massive twist I didn't expect and I can't wait for book 2 especially as it seems we'll get to see more of Kyra
This book was so good! It just had everything amazing characters and a story full if twists and turns. I can't choose a favourite character as I love them all and the story kept me interested the while way through with lots if twist I did see coming, and the tension between Almira and Alton was amazing. This was one of those books when I wasn't reading it I was thinking about reading it and I can't wait for book 2 next year.
"You've never experienced Wonderland quite like this" and Kell you weren't wrong!
Whilst the characters and places may seem familiar this is definitely not the Alice I enjoyed growing up (and that's not a bad thing)
I'll admit I'm an absolute sucker for a spicy fairytale retelling and this didn't disappoint! It was the perfect combination of story and spice! And that ending.... come on can't wait for book 2 next year to see what happens next

I'm quite torn with this book while as I enjoyed it and like the characters I felt at times it jumped a bit and I felt I had missed something/skipped a few pages. I've read some if Nicole's other books that I felt the same with though i most definitely feel her writing has improved, and I will most likely add book 2 to my tbr especially after the cliffhanger at the end
