Now this series is really getting good! This is most definitely my favourite book in the series so far! I read this in a few days I loved getting more of Manon as well as seeing Lysandra and Aelin's relationship grow and develop from rivals to friends! I can't wait to finish this series (I swear I'll do it soon! )
I really enjoyed this and am glad I read it between Heir of Fire and Queen of Shadows. I loved finding out more about Celaena's past, and it definitely filled in some gaps gave a setting for parts of the next book
This was a great conclusion to the Darks Eyes Duet. You finally got to see Lenore come into her powers and quite frankly kick ass! Also, the spice 🔥 I love all the characters and can't wait to read Nightwolf so I can get to see more of Amethyst and Wolf
This book was right up my street.. sexy vampires/lots of spice, what's not to love?
I really enjoyed this. I liked how it flipped between Valtu's past and the present. The characters were brilliant. I really enjoyed the story and the spice 🍰 and OMG that ending??? Talk about a twist! I'll definitely be reading book 2 as well as the other books set in this world!

After we were introduced to Lenore and Solon at the end of Blood Orange, I decided to jump into the Dark Eyes Duet before reading Black Rose.
I really enjoyed this the perfect blend of story and spiceI like the characters and loved the concept of Lenore being a hybrid witch/vampire.
QOTD: are you a fan of vampires?

So this isn't my usual read but I wanted to read as I'm normally a fantasy girl something sapphic and spicy and saw this recommend a few times in tiktok and my local library had it so decided to give it a try and I wasn't disappointed! This book had everything great characters, story and the spice 🥵 man was this hot! (That shower scene 🔥)
I really like how the relationship developed and how the characters grew. I enjoyed this so much that I've treated myself to Meryl's other book, Something to talk about, and have preordered their new release, Cleat Cute, and can't wait to read them!

I'm a sucker for a fairytale retelling and make it a why choose... I just can't resist!
I really enjoyed this it kinda gave me Shrek vibes as it had me giggling, and it took the mickey/put a different spin on the fairytale we know and love. I really liked Daphne and the Stirling brothers, and Charming was a brilliant villain! There were some great twists that I didn't see coming and that ending! I can't wait for book 2!

So when I picked this up, I thought it was gonna to be a super cute romcom with a bit of miscommunication trope and hijinks through in, and while it was this, it was so much more! Although the main story was Tilly falling for Katherine Cooper-Bunting, who her best friend Teddy is in love with it also dealt with grief and a loss of a friend as well as Tilly's Grandad and his alzheimer's diagnosis! I loved all the characters (except Tillys parents who need to do better!) And really enjoyed the stor. It made me laugh, cry and everything in betwe. This book was a fab way to start pride month and also really fitting at this week is dementia week. I'll be checking out Wibke's other book
I really enjoyed this book, I like how it started quite gently, letting you learn about the characters and their backgrounds, then the mystery started building and then that ending!!! I can't wait for book 2 to see what happens next.
Character wise, I really like Joss and how she deals with balancing her duty as an executioner with what I think is her calling as a healer. I can't wait to see what happens with her and Aric whether they are destined to be enemies or if they will come back together. I also loved the introduction to Callan and can't wait to see how his story develops
