I had seen lots of good things about this and as I love a good dystopian novel I was excited to read it and it didn't disappoint! I really liked Jamie and Andrew and how their relationship grew and the developed and the end of this book had me screaming, shouting, and crossing my fingers for a happy ending! I'm really excited that book 2 has been announced and looking forward to seeing what happens next
After reading the Demon Bargain I decided to try the other books in the peculiar tastes series and I wasn't disappointed! I loved the story of this and found it quite unique and really liked Stheno and the spice 🔥🔥 I'm glad I gave this a read and will definitely check out Jenny's other books as well as others in this series!
As someone who grew up in the age of slasher movies, I was really excited to read this, and I was disappointed this kept me guessing the whole way through! I really liked Sloan and found her really interesting and was so suspicious of Cherry and didn't like the hold she had in Sloan (though I get this was a trauma bond after what they had been through despite really enjoying the book I must admit I was slightly disappointed in the ending and it left me feeling a bit confused! This book will be perfect for the spooky season and a must-read for any slasher/horror fans
I absolutely love the Deal with the Demon series, and this one didn't disappoint! I loved seeing more of Ramanu and loved Lenora. As always, this had a fab plot, amazing spice, and a kick ass heroine, and I can't wait for the next instalment of this series!
I listened to the audiobook of this, and I enjoyed it. I love a dystopian novel, and this was a unique spin on it. I really liked Gabe and overall enjoyed the story . It was upsetting at times, especially as this is happening to some extent in our world.
I'll definitely check out more of William's books

After reading the Borderlands Princess, I was excited when I discovered there was a prequel novella about Prince Achill and his past. It was a great quick read showing how he became who he was and would definitely recommend it for fans of the Stone Circle Duet
I absolutely adored The Boarderlands Princess and was so excited to read book 2, and although I enjoyed it and liked being back with the characters and in this, I didn't enjoy this quite as much it felt a bit rushed at times especially the ending and can't help feeling this would have been better as a Trilogy rather than a Duet to give the storylines more time to develop and be explored more
This was definitely a booksta/booktok made me read it book! Although it didn't quite live up to the hype, I still enjoyed it! I liked Nora and enjoyed the story, but to me, it was just a standard romance and nothing, particularly special. I will probably check out Emily's other books at some point but in no rush to do so!
So I'm absolutely in love with the Hunger Games and was so excited when I heard there was a prequel coming out, though it did take me a while to get round to reading it but I thought I better hurry up especially as the film is out soon!
Although I didn't love this as much as the original, I still really enjoyed this it was great seeing how the Hunger Games used to be and how they evolved to the ones Katniss took part it, and why Snow disliked her so much! It was quite slow at times, but overall, I enjoyed it.
