I really enjoyed the first book in this series, so I was super excited for this one, and it didn't disappoint! I really like both Bella and Chase, and as with the first book, Chase isn't the bad guy you think he is! As much as I enjoyed the first book and will be keeping my eye out for more books by Amy, I like that each book in the series has a different author as each book is centred around someone different! I'm looking forward to finishing this as well as reading the rest of the series as it's the perfect summer read!

As soon as I saw this had I'm to Sexy by Right Said Fred in the playlist. I thought I was in for a treat, and I wasn't wrong! This was such a fun read! I really like Sammie, and the tension/relationship between her and Romeo was 🔥🔥🔥. It was such a fun concept, and I'm intrigued to go and read the rest of this series, and I'm hoping for Love Hotel California soon both so I can see more of Sammie and Romeo and see the next love connection! This is the perfect summer read, fun with a little pinch of spice!

I don't know if you should describe a murder mystery as fun, but that's what this book was! A fab fun little cosy mystery! I really liked Jess and was rooting for her the whole way through! I loved Della and Darcy! Della had me giggling the whole way through! I really liked that the characters where older and there friendship was brill! This was a cosy mystery with some great red herrings that kept you guessing the whole way through! This would be good for fans of Thursday Murder Club and I really hope we see more from Sinclair Investigations!

I have slightly mixed feelings about this one! I liked Freya and the premise of the story, and although it was mostly enjoyable, in some ways, it fell a bit short and a little bit predictable at times. I like Freya and Jake but felt there could have been more build up and tension between them, and for me, it wasn't particularly spice (though i do like my books super spicy!)
I'm sure plenty of people would enjoy this it's a good easy read on a sunny afternoon, but l wasn't blown away by it!

This book is beautifully written. I'll admit that at times, I didn't quite know what was going on (that's probably me to do with me than the book), but I absolutely loved it it was so simple yet complex I loved both Red and Blue and let me tell you I'm was rooting for them the whole way through. Their letters to each other were beautifully written. I'll definitely be checking out Amal's and Max's other works, and I'll be treating myself to the special edition!

I've not read any hockey romance, but I enjoyed this one! It was super easy fun read perfect for the bank holiday weekend. I really liked Lucy and Jaylen and the tension between them, I liked how it was a slightly reversed grumpy x sunshine with Lucy being the grump. I really liked how it touched on anxiety and depression and how it's OK to get help. This was a fun romance with a pinch of spice with likeable characters that's super easy to read!

So I definitely have mixed feelings about this one! Although I really liked Ophelia and Blackwell and thought the tension/chemistry between them was fab, I found the story a bit lacking and a bit predictable! I guessed the big twist right at the beginning! I may pick up book 2 at some point as I quite liked Genevieve.

I enjoyed The Croaking Raven last year, so I was excited to see there was a prequel. I really enjoyed it and loved how it gave the background to the Morris Oxford Players and what happened with Olivers father! I absolutely loathed Morris and kinda get why Oliver did what he did in book 1! I liked seeing it from Felixs POV, and Guy wrote his conflicting feelings brilliantly! I can't wait to read more of this series!

This has been on my TBR for a while, so I decided to host a @buddyreadbooknook buddy read, and I'm so glad I did as I absolutely loved it! It was completely different from what I was expecting, but it was brilliant! It made me laugh, cry, get angry, and everything in between! I loved Elizabeth and Mad and their relationship with Harriot this book did an amazing job at found family a trope I love!
I can't wait to watch the TV show and will be recommending this to everyone!
