I was so excited to know we would be getting more on Ben and Maya!!! I was so captivated by them and their connection in the first book.

The angst. Oh goodness the angst. 

This really did take you on a rollercoaster of feelings, as they not only discovered things about themselves but also their feelings and what that meant. 

I really loved their connection that they had . I feel like their friendship before they started to explore things really solidified their relationship even more.

This was such a cute second chance romance.

Bishop and Gabi were each other first loves. Things ended between them, Gabi moved back to their hometown after college and Bishop chased after his dreams of making it big in baseball.

Bishop is back in his home town recovering from an injuring he sustained from debut in the minor leagues. While in town he takes on a job at the local high school helping with the team. While coming to grips with what is future possibly looks like, things begin to rekindle between the two.

I loved watching these two both grow as individuals but also grow together as a couple.

I loved these two so much. I loved all the side characters and Grandma G was a riot!!!

They had amazing dynamic and even better chemistry 🥵 

JJ was absolutely adorable. He is the definition on Sunshine and so full of life. He is always so happy and brings his happiness to so many people.

In the beginning Killian was such a grump but I loved watching his layers crumble and begin to soften up some. The way that he was with JJ was perfection 🥹

The way these two built each other up was absolutely beautiful.

cute story, didn't really feel any connection to any of the characters but the plot was cute and there connection was nice

UMMMMMMM excuse me but how dare you keep giving these fictional men that I love and adore and wish were real!!!!! I did not think I could love a Langfield brother more than Beckett but Brooks has definitely stolen the top spot. 

GAHHHHHHH, these two are literal perfection, like nothing wrong with them at all. No one can tell me any different, I stand by what I said!

Brooks has been in love with his best friend for so long and has been hiding it for pretty much just as long. Their bond is absolutely amazing and truly something special. They have always had insane chemistry and when they finally, FINALLY, got together it was absolutely explosive 🥵

Sara is so relatable and absolutely hilarious. She is so loyal and at the type of girl that you would want as a friend and never question who she is as a person. 

Despite how they initially got together, in revenge for the sleazy cheating no good uncle 🥴, they managed to go from best friends to so much more so effortlessly, like they truly were meant to be together.

I just couldn't get into it. 

There was too much back and forth, I felt no connection to the characters and it felt like it was dragged out on certain parts and made it longer than it should have been.

This definitely gives off major Cinderella vibes and I am here for it. Just like the first book I ate this up so quick. I couldn't get enough of it.

My heart absolutely broke for Beckett and the things that he had to go through earlier on. The struggles he went through led him to be pretty destructive. He was able to grow and heal with Eve's love and support and he truly needed that.

Eve is struggling, poor and just trying to make it through life. When she was a teenager she went to go visit her mom at work, who happens to be the cleaning lady a Beckett's mansion. Of course like any good dark romance she see's something she shouldn't and is put on Becketts radar. From there the delicious chaos ensures  😏

They have known each other for years and we get to see them go from teenagers and hating each other to adults who know that there is no other for them and they are made for each other. I loved both of them so much and the chemistry between them was incredible 👏🏼
