I'm gonna try to do this review justice without giving away anything and spoiling it for anyone else. 

This is Book two in the compass series and it is NOT a standalone, Beastly Armory is first and let me tell you, just go ahead and read both, stop everything and just do it. have an open mind and just read them, you will not be disappointed!!

In the beginning I was allll for Jane and then the biggest bomb dropped, first thought, mind blown 🤯 second thought, no harm can ever come to Cal.

Cal won over my heart by the end of the book. Everyone has their own way of coping but once Cal and Jane get over everything and truly begin to trust each other it is 🔥

There is self discovery, drama, twist and turns and soooo much going on and I am here for all of it

Pamela knows how to write a phenomenal mafia romance!!! This was another book knocked out of the park!!!

When Elodie's father and her brother have come into the crosshairs of one of the Mafia family, they do the only thing they can think of.. sell Elodie to the Don of the Conti Family, Nico.

Rafe is out for vengeance for the death of his brother and father and the kidnapping of his sister, his plan was to steal Nico's plaything as a bartering chip to get his sister back. Things don't go quite as planned and he quickly realizes that he would burn the world down for his Stellina. 

There were sooo many twist and turns that I really had no idea where it was heading. and boy oh boy were there some shockers that I was not prepared for that left my jaw on the floor.

All I'm gonna say is..... Sasquatch 😭😭 whyyyyyyyy, why did you do that to us

At 20% my heart was already breaking for Noon and Solace so much. I was so consumed with finding out what happens that I stayed up wayyyyy to late to finish. 

From early on in the book I could see the way it would play out but my heart was not prepared for the pain and grief that journey would take. Both Solace and Noon lost so much, but my heart hurt for Solace so much more because he remembered EVERYTHING, while Noon remembered nothing 😭

The flashbacks we got in between the past and present really brought their story together. We got to see what brought them together (didn't see that coming) from Solace's memories and how their relationship grew to what it was before Noon forgot. 

These two not only fell in love once but were able to find their way back to each other and fall back in love again. They are the definition of soulmates 🩷

AHHHHHHHHH Syn did it yet again! another absolute masterpiece. I was hooked from the very first chapter and was completely consumed until the book was done. 

Chase ends up becoming Noah's therapist and there is definitely an instant connection between the both of them. Noah has red flag written across his forward and Chase immediately recognizes that but as the story goes on my thoughts were the same as Chase.....red flags?????what red flags?!?!?!?!?!

I mean was Noah completely obsessed:1000000%, was he unhinged and a completele stalker, also 1000000% but if you really look past all the craziness, he truly cared for Chase and that was just his way of expressing it... depraved sure but still sweet in a way.

I gotta say, I applaud Syn, she didn't try to redeem Noah and his craziness and just laid it all out there in a take it or leave it kind of way and never changing Noah's character to "better himself".  Chase had a difficult time to come to terms with Noah's unhinged behavior but once he did he finally realized that, that man would stop at NOTHING to ensure that he is taken care of, loved and happy, which is everything that he has always wanted and definitely deserves.

I was sooooooooo disappointed in this book. There was just so much potential but lacked so much. 

We have been teased with these guys and their relationship dir a few book so I was super excited but let down greatly. 

It was so fast paced that we didnt get more depth with them. 

Add in the fact that these guys are best friends, ride or dies would do anything for each other to just nothing. Nothing at all so quickly. Like WTF!!! Then then make up and it's just great and amazing 🥴🤔 

And yet again we're left with a HFN and greatly disappointed 

This was a beautiful heartbreaking read. Reed and Tate have been friends for years, Reed secretly in love with Tate while Tate has such a deep-rooted fear of coming out that he can't acknowledge he's gay.

there's so much that happens to both of them, they really have a lot of growth throughout the story. they overcome so much throughout the years and they truly fought hard for their love and happily ever after. 

This had so many amazing great tropes and man did it deliver on hotness 😮‍💨


I absolutely loved Knox and Liver. The bond these two had was incredible and watching them exploring things between them made it even better.

This was a cute read although I do have to say a lot of the book felt super repetitive. I get they wanted to remain anonymous but it just felt way too drawn out. 

Also there was such a build up of family havingsoluch a major problem with it and then nothing. It was hyped up for nothing. Also I did not like any of the side characters especially Mimi and Lilly but I mean it's high school so I get it. 

I honestly have no idea what was going in this book. There were so many unknown terms and reference, add in that it was in third person and I was lost completely.

There is no cohesiveness to the story, there was no character development and there was just so much lacking.
