Learning some about Dani's past in the last book, my heart hurt for her. After reading from her perspective about everything she went through from that vile man, my heart completely broke for her.
Dani is such a strong, beautiful and incredible woman. She has been through it and she chooses to love so fiercely and not let the past hurt her any longer. Watching her become even more confident as the time went on was amazing.
Bridger did everything he could to prove to Dani that he loved and cared for her. That man became soooo possessive of her and I was here for it all. Their chemistry was on fire 🥵 and they had such an incredible connection from the years of friendship they had before they became a couple.
Birdie, that little girl was so precious. She just lit up a room whenever she was there. Bridger was the perfect father and the way Dani was with her was beautiful.
Oh this series is off to a great start!! I loved these three so much. Dani, Bridger and Birdie and the most perfect and cutest family.

I read this when it first came out and let me tell you, this updated and rewritten one is soooo good and really highlights the authors ability to make changes that really improved the overall book in the best way.
Cora and James has incredible chemistry. Cora was so incredibly strong for everything that she is dealing with. James is an alpha male through and through and that man needed to do allll the groveling.

I read the first book in the series which gave a bit of background with Rainn and Cher.
I enjoyed this one about more while it was very slow in the beginning it picked up quite a bit and it was a rollercoaster.
I liked Rainn and Mac. They had really good growth both individually and together as a couple.
There was more depth with the plot with this one as well.
Overall a cute quick read.

Hailey was a likable character. She felt extremely relatable and I want her as my bestie. She was sassy and formerce and took no prisoners when it came to standing up for not only herself but Colt as well.
When these two finally admitted their feelings and that it was each other since day one they were introduced, I was so giddy. These two are just the cutest and their chemistry 😮💨 off the charts.

First read for me from this author and I'm completely torn on how I feel about it.
The amount of miscommunication from Mac and Jordan throughout the book gave me a damn headache. Yeah sure it built up the angst, but come on, the amount in the book was unnecessary.
There were some parts that I felt I had noooooo idea what was going on the could have been events from previous books in the series and others times I had to reread parts to totally grasp what in the world was happening.
From about 60% of the book to the end was what I really enjoyed the most. Mac trying to let Jordan in and Jordan accepting his true self was a really long rough journey for these two.
This said it could be read as a standalone but I highly highly suggest you read the others in the series first so you understand events that happen in half of the book.

I loved watching these two fall in love over the years. Their relationship started out slow and consisted of texts but I feel it deepened their connection even more.
Sven and Dom balance each other out so much. Sven became a shoulder for Dom to lean on and their relationship just blossomed from there. The way Sven wasn't afraid to speak his mind and be his true self was amazing.
The turn of events over the holidays was a pleasant surprise and I was so glad Dom got the apologies and closure he needed.
