This is another well written stand-alone from KM Neuhold.
A nerdy, awkward virgin and cocky, flirty player get their HEA.

Elijah is an inexperienced, clueless nerd who is very insecure and hates social situations as everyone makes him nervous and he worries about what to say or that he may do something stupid.
Pax is a confident, cocky, flirty player who doesn’t do relationships and happens to be the elder brother of Elijah’s best friend. He also happens to be a bit of a closet nerd who knows an awful lot about Star Wars. Elijah also had a childhood crush on him.
Pax and Elijah are really adorable and it was beautiful watching them thrive and grow together. Even if there’s a couple of bumps along the way.
Their story had me laughing, smiling at how gorgeous they are together and feeling so sad for things Elijah experienced in his past. Add in some steam and you have a truly wonderful book. The side characters were also a lot of fun and add another layer to the story. I do hope they get their stories told.
Yet another book by this author that I highly recommend.

Eden Finley has given us a wonderful beginning to this new series.
Harley was first introduced in the Fake Boyfriend series and he wasn’t the nicest of people. Here we discover the true depth of his character and what a character he is. Funny, likeable and misunderstood by many except for his new bodyguard Brix who has layers of his own. Lots of chemistry, plenty of steam, witty banter, drama and romance. And not to forget a great cast of interesting side characters.
I highly recommend this and I’m looking forward to more.

Fantastic start to a new series.

I really wish I could give more then 5 stars for this well crafted book.
The character development, the complexities of the story line, the drama that kept me turning the pages to find out what happens next. Not to mention the cast of intriguing side characters and the romance between Atlas and Toby that was far from smooth sailing. There’s a lot of hurdles for these two wonderful men to overcome, with baggage, bumps and bruises included, but they do get their well deserved HEA.
If you enjoy amazing chemistry with high heat levels, a dash of angst and a few feels, then this is for you.
I highly recommend this first instalment in the Jokers Sin series and am looking forward to more in this fantastic universe.

Once again intrigue, mystery, magic and mayhem do seem to be attracted to Quinn and Twig. They really can’t catch a break and in this, the third instalment, the action and adventure continues on at a cracking pace in Quinn’s home realm. At least they have their chosen clan as back up and manage to gather a few more mystical supporters along the way.
Add in some humour, more steam, a prophecy, some major hurdles to overcome and a few new side characters and you’re left with a fun, interesting and enjoyable read.
