Wonderful opposites attract romance.
This beautifully written story of Santi and Micah’s romance just resonated with me. These two very likeable main characters immediately settled into my heart and now refuse to leave.
Micah is a vet who has no self confidence which is mainly due to his body issues, likes to play it safe and is a virgin. Santi is a military vet and circumstances lead him back home to Chester Falls. He has also never been in a relationship but that’s because he’s a very confident, experienced player.
Their paths crossed earlier in life but reconnect due to Santi’s Great Dane. The chemistry between these two main characters is always bubbling away but it does take a few kisses before they finally get on track.
So begins a very enjoyable and engaging low angst, medium heat romance with only a bit of a misunderstanding before they get their HEA.
Characters from previous books in the series do pop in to make appearances but I believe the best side characters, that had me laughing and smiling, are the menagerie of pets that come into Santi’s life, courtesy of his dog!

If you enjoy a fake boyfriends, grumpy/sunshine romance with lots of steamy times between the two main characters then this is a book for you.
Storm really is a very grumpy prickly chef who does much of his communicating via grunts. He is also anti social and a bit lonely. Hennessy, who works for Storm, arrived on the island over 3 years ago for a 3 day holiday and never left. He’s very social but also a bit lonely.
Circumstances have them pretending to be boyfriends but it doesn’t mean they don’t give in to the sizzling chemistry between them and indulge in numerous steamy times, even making it to the bed occasionally. After they both do some soul searching they realise that they are perfect for each other and get their HEA with very minimal angst or huge hurdles to overcome.
I found this to be a very easy and enjoyable read and it was wonderful being back on the Island with its wonderful but slightly crazy bunch of full time residents. I’m looking forward to more in the series.

Wonderful friends to lovers with some feels.
I really enjoyed this well written second book in the Belong To Me series. It had me fully engaged from the very beginning as it flowed along nicely and had a great cast of main and secondary characters to keep me interested and turning the pages.
Jesse and Deacon are two very likeable characters who have been best friends since childhood. Circumstances have Deacon leaving to pursue a competitive sailing career, rarely returning home and eventually ghosting Jesse. Jesse rushes to Deacon’s side after an accident which leaves him in hospital and the reunion leads to them reconnecting after 10 years and rekindling their friendship.
The constant sizzle of the undeniable chemistry between leads to more including some self discovery and soul searching as truths are revealed. It’s a bit of an emotional roller coaster for them both as they navigate the bumps on the way to their longed for HEA. I felt every emotional moment of the journey, from my heart hurting for them to laughing and smiling with them at the end. A book that I highly recommend.
3.5 star. A quick enjoyable historical romance
2.5 stars. Character driven with a vivid and descriptive writing style. I did find it slow and somewhat depressing in tone. It lost me with how Andrew behaved with his ex and to not tell Coley is cheating in my book!
How I loved Felix from the very beginning. His snark, sarcasm and witty banter had me laughing out loud and Max was more then happy to bounce off all that dialogue. Felix also has a vulnerability about him that just grabs you and doesn’t let go. The chemistry between these two is absolutely scorching and at the high heat level with lots of steamy moments. Unfortunately it burns all too hot and you’re left knowing that the brightness is about to be extinguished and you’ll experience every bit of the heartbreak - whilst possibly despising Max.
But as with all well crafted plots that included wonderful character development, there’s many layers to Max that are revealed in Part 2 and I eventually just wanted to give him big squishy hugs.
The journey to their romantic HEA includes many bumps along the way but slowly trust is restored, as was their love for each other and my sore heart.
Characters from the two previous books are included and a couple have important roles to play in this throughly engaging, beautiful second chance romance that is full of humour and lots of feels.

This series just gets better with each book!
Oh Fabian, how I love him. His curiosity in all things, his hyper focus that makes him zone out, his good easy going nature, his bluntness, his unique logical mind and his love for cuddling. Also how he is perfect for Rhys who can be socially awkward, shy, nerdy and all science-y but is such a romantic at heart.
Circumstances have these two wonderful characters crossing paths and it’s the catalyst for a romance that is beautifully intertwined with a scientific conundrum and their thirst for knowledge and answers. Answers that impact the future of all the community species. It’s also great fun watching the previously ‘one night only’ Fabian lean into and embrace an actual romantic relationship. One that includes plenty of sizzling chemistry with steamy times and tender sweet moments to match.
This is a very engaging and enjoyable read with minimal angst and lots of laugh out loud moments. The plot flows along perfectly and had me hooked from the very first page and it was great catching up with the characters from previous books in this and the Hidden Species series who all had their roles to play. Highly recommended!

In this instalment of the Vampires of the Beloved Gem series vampire Matteo gets his story told. Working in security on the Beloved Gem he comes in contact with many people but was not expecting to meet his fated mate, Alpha wolf shifter Justin. He was also not expecting to be immediately claimed by him. Thus setting in motion a whirlwind of events that immediately has repercussions on their claiming with the fated pair having to overcome numerous obstacles before settling into their HEA.
This is an enjoyable fated mates, mpreg romance with a some angsty feelings, lots of steamy scenes between the two likeable main characters and plenty of interactions with characters from the previous books set in this universe.
