Absolute brilliant start to a new series.

Wow, this wonderfully written, descriptive original storyline had me hooked from the very start. The pacing was so I good I had to keep turning the page to find out what was going to happen next. Add in some truly realistic and likeable main characters and I couldn’t put this book down.

Levi is funny, witty and a genuinely nice guy to all. He moves to York into an inherited house that has a very sinister history.

Blue is fierce, loyal, prickly and funny. He runs a ghost tour in York and ends up helping Levi with his “things that go bump in the night”.

The connection between the two main characters is pretty instant but I enjoyed how they took their time to develop that connection into something real for them. I also loved the relationship between Blue and his cantankerous old mentor Tom. All the characters had plenty of snark and witty banter to add a nice level of well timed humour to the proceedings.

I highly recommend this book and look forward to seeing where Levi and Blue take us next.

Sage and Gideon are back, with the usual sidekicks in place, to stop the demise of their town.
An engaging read with a different plot to the previous books in the series.

Another well written story from Kelly Fox that flows along seamlessly and has two wonderfully developed main characters in Anders and Omar.
Anders really is a ray of sunshine in Omar’s grey coloured life. Although one day his pranks go over the top and push Omar a bit too far, which comes to the attention of their boss who sends them on an operation together to get things sorted out between them.
There’s layers to Omar that slowly get revealed and Anders has the perfect personality and perceptive ability to know what Omar needs. Their chemistry is undeniable and once they finally decide to act upon it fully, things really heat up.
This is a truly engaging read with a well deserved HEA, wit, action, interesting main and side characters and ridiculous pranks to add a bit of fun.

Sparrow and Luke have a less than favourable first meeting due to Sparrow’s absolute dislike of all things “rodeo”. It takes a bit of time for him to appreciate that Luke is more than just a world champion bronc rider and is certainly not a diva.

My heart really went out to Luke and all that he’s endured in his life and it was an absolute joy to watch Sparrow’s opinion of Luke do a complete turnabout and morph into love. A hot and steamy passionate love, with just a bit of light kink, that leads to a beautiful HEA.

There’s a little bit of angst but it’s more about what’s happening in Luke’s life, not the romance with Sparrow, and some funny moments to add balance. Add in a fantastic cast of side characters to keep things interesting and you’re left with a very engaging well paced read that made my heart happy. Another wonderful book from this author and I can’t wait for more in the series.

Ryan’s life is an isolated and lonely existence as he cares for his chronically ill young daughter. Micah’s life is an eternal battle against his brain. He fortunately has his found family at the tattoo shop who accept him as he is and assist him when needed. It is wonderful having the some of the characters from previous books in the series popping in to help Micah through his spiralling episodes. Circumstances bring the Ryan and Micah together and so begins a roller coaster ride to their HEA as they make the adjustment to being in each other’s lives.
Expect some angst, some heat and lots of feels in this well written instalment of the Iron and Works series.
