Wonderful sweet romance.
Caleb and Tag meet when Caleb freezes at the open mic night and Tag comes to his rescue. The chemistry sparks and so begins a beautiful romance between these two very likeable main characters. Caleb is a sweet, self professed geek who can be quite cheeky at times and giggles adorably whilst Tag loves raising his bees and making his mead. He also hides his past from everyone and wants what happened to stay in the past as he enjoys the anonymity.
I giggled and smiled a lot reading this book and even though I could see what was going to happen when Tag’s secret was revealed, it didn’t take anything away from my enjoyment of the story. It also didn’t stop Tag and Caleb from getting their HEA.
An engaging and enjoyable story with a bit of heat, a bit of angst and lots of fun and giggles between two characters finding their place together in the world.
Childhood best friends Judson and Skyler have not seen each other for 10 years but circumstances have Judson returning home from Paris to Burlington, Vermont. Their initial meeting upon his return does not go as Skyler expected and so begins the process of them reconnecting as adults.
Their romance is very sweet, and not just because of the liberal use of maple syrup, the chemistry between them is undeniable and when it sparks it quickly gets passionate and steamy. Life choices for both Judson and Skyler need to be made and a minor obstacle negotiated before they get their longed for HEA.
This is a well written, sweet with heat, low angst romance with a great cast of side characters that had me cheering these two wonderful men on and left me smiling.

4.5 stars. Fantastic conclusion to the trilogy.
I couldn’t wait to get my grabby little hands on this final instalment in the trilogy and I was not disappointed.
The dual POV gives great insight into the blooming relationship between Emery and Graham. There’s plenty of witty back and forth banter, deadpan humour and quiet, intimate moments between them. The focus is on the relationship between these characters, not steamy times, and it is beautifully done. My heart went out to Emery with all that he’s endured and the gentle, calming nature of Graham is a perfect counterpoint to Emery’s sharp edges.
The characters from previous instalments are all involved and Ari still takes great pleasure in tormenting Rowan! It takes a few unexpected plot twists and turns but the overall story arc is resolved at last and everyone gets to take a breath, settle back into village life and enjoy some peace and quiet.

This is a new-to-me author and I do enjoy her writing style. This is a lovely slow burn age gap romance with two strongly developed main characters in James and Perry.
James, 53, has lead a very “hedonistic and self centred life” so he can be free to be the person he believes he is. Perry, 25, is so very sweet and very much a people pleaser who is literally rescued by James and circumstances lead them to sharing his house.
The many layers to James and Perry are revealed as their friendship grows into more and the chemistry between them turns very steamy balanced out with sweet and tender times.
There certainly are some moments of angst before they overcome a major hurdle and settle into a well deserved HEA.
I found this to be an enjoyable and engaging read with plenty of side characters to keep things interesting and I was fully invested in the outcome.

I really enjoyed the sweet slow burn between Kitt and Brendon, two wonderful main characters who each come into the relationship with some baggage.
Kitt is recovering at the ranch with injuries sustained whilst bull riding and Brendon joins the ranch as its cook. Even with Kitt’s injuries making him a bit grumpy, they develop a strong friendship. Although Brendon has an issue with his parents that gets him down, he’s so easy going and is a gentle giant with a love of cooking. The chemistry between these two likeable main characters slowly bubbles and builds until they can’t deny it any longer and the steamy times commence, even if they need to keep the noise down due to thin bedroom doors and lots of roommates! They do achieve their much desired HEA with only a very slight hiccup along the way that doesn’t distract them from what they both want.
I finished this engaging and enjoyable read with a happy feeling in my heart and cannot wait for more in the series.

4.5 stars.
It’s not only boss/employee but also grumpy/sunshine guy opposites attract. Connor is a lawyer and Jamie is his personal assistant. Whilst Connor is very surly by nature, not a sociable person and somewhat arrogant, Jamie is cheerful and friendly, warm, funny and somewhat unpredictable.
From the very beginning the dialogue between these two characters had me constantly laughing out loud and smiling until the very end. Unusual circumstances mean they get to know each other better whilst not in a work environment and their perceptions of one another are challenged. Admitting to the attraction and chemistry between them, a dating experiment for a trail period is agreed upon and so begins the the road to their HEA. It’s not without a hiccup to two but nothing derails them from their goal.
This is a very enjoyable and engaging read with a dash of angst, lots of steam with sweet vulnerable moments mixed in and copious amounts of witty banter between two well developed characters who I adored.

Jack is a fishing guide in Alaska and he crosses paths with movie star Damien, who goes to Alaska to wait out a scandal. Thing is, Jack as no idea who Damien is.
These two wonderful characters then spend time together and come to realise the attraction and chemistry between them which bubbles along quietly until they finally give in to it.
Of course, the truth is unceremoniously revealed to Jack, and the world, so this really causes a major issue in their budding romance. Not enough to permanently derail their HEA but it does cause some angst that needs to be negotiated.
I loved these two characters who appeared to be worlds apart but were made for each other and it made for a really enjoyable and engaging read. There’s medium heat, some giggles from the actions of the side character Vin and an ending that made me feel happy. I’m looking forward to more in the series.

Beautiful small town romance.
Gah, Ross and Dan marched their way into my heart and refuse to leave!
They are such wonderful characters and they way they have crushed on each other for so long is adorable. Dan, a carpenter and volunteer firefighter, only just returned to their small town after many years away and he last saw Ross, the high school librarian, on a visit home 2 years prior. Dan also happens to be besties with Ross’s brother.
I loved that they are in their 30’s and mature so there’s no silly miscommunication issues, etc to derail them. There is a dash of angst but it’s more to do with the natural disasters they are confronted with and a bit of anxiety for Ross when an unpleasant person from his past reappears.
This is such a sweet engaging, medium heat romance that had me smiling so hard for the much longed for HEA. My community fought the East Gippsland bush fires for over 200 days and I appreciate the way the author captured the physical and mental strain this placed not just on the volunteer firefighters but all community members.
