This is an easy and enjoyable read with two very likeable main characters - Ash and Ezra and some interesting side characters including a rescue dog!
Ash is a graphic designer who is not after a relationship. He’s the victim of an assault and feels he needs to come to terms with that and family issues first.
Ezra is a veterinarian, divorced and the father of 5yr old twin boys. His trust issues stem from the breakdown of his 10yr marriage.
Together they have amazing chemistry and a very steamy one night stand which leads to a friends with benefits situation and a lot more steamy times.
Their relationship progresses, trusting themselves and each other more, with only a bit of angst and drama along the way to their HEA.
I really enjoyed this engaging and enjoyable read and look forward to more in the Hart Security universe.
Characters from the first book in the series are featured but this can be read as a standalone.

This is a great start to the Road to Redemption series and what a road the main characters King and Rory are on. King is an ex gangster who has his own night club and is far from the man he used to be. Rory works as a bartender whilst trying to save money for his own yoga studio. He also has secrets held close to his chest.
This is an enjoyable and engaging read with an interesting cast of main and secondary characters, lots of chemistry between King and Rory that makes the heat levels rise, a bit of drama, some low level angst and a satisfying HFN. The truth bomb on the last page has me eagerly awaiting the next in the series.

What a fantastic way to spend the afternoon. Such a fun read with so many laugh out loud moments. There’s a quest with the most wonderful group of characters including the most idiotic “leader” of all time. The romance between Quinn and Loth is fun and sweet with a bit of heat and of course a HEA. A great fluffy light read to lift your spirits.

Great start to new series.

This is a very enjoyable slow burn age gap romance with two wonderful main characters, Finn and Joel.
Joel is recently divorced and finally living his authentic life as an out gay man. Finn is a builder who crushes on Joel every time he sees him walking his dog.
Circumstances bring them together and their slow burn romance begins. The chemistry between them takes its time to ignite but once it does the heat levels certainly rise.
This is minimal angst, engaging read which left me smiling when Finn and Joel navigated their way to an HEA.
There’s plenty of interesting side characters in the “Maine Men” and I look forward to the friends getting their stories told.

Blake and the Beast

4.5 stars.

I really enjoyed this original retelling of Beauty and the Beast.
The world building is done extremely well and the two main characters of Blake and Archer are so likeable. They have an undeniable attraction from the very first meeting and things soon get hot and steamy. Throw in an extremely interesting cast of side characters, some action, some feels, minimal angst, an intriguing plot and a hard earned HEA, and you’re left with an exciting urban fantasy read.
I’m looking forward to more in this universe.

The Cat Returns to Adderley. By Sam Burns.

4.5 stars.

What a treat this very original retelling of Puss In Boots is.
Luke and Wentworth/Alistair do have a hurdle of two to jump over before they get their well deserved HEA. Circumstances leave Luke homeless with very little funds, but he does have his cat. So begins a magical journey involving horrible brothers, a loving sister and a dust filled house.
A very enjoyable and engaging read that gave me some feels and left me overly happy at the end.
