This is a wonderful start to the Gemini Warlock series.
There’s magic, a drop of drama and a second chance romance between two likeable main characters. Cristobel wasn’t so likeable in the prologue but the authors writing ability redeemed him. Ezra had his heart broken and moved away, not returning until a year later. When they cross paths again the chemistry between them is still strong but Cristobel and Ezra have a lot to sort out before the heat levels rise.
There’s a few bumps along the way, some involving family and friends, but they do get their HEA.
All the interesting side characters are just waiting for their stories to be told and I can’t wait. Especially Bram who is hilarious when under the effects of a spell gone wrong.

Opened the book, read the first paragraph and was completely hooked!
The perfect pacing kept me turning the pages anxious to see what would happen to the wonderful main characters Ciro and Xander, a passionate foodie and a chef.
Ciro has had a shocking life but is so protective of his found family whilst sweet Xander has such a huge heart. Together their chemistry is undeniable and when the heat flares between them so does the steam. Even a serial killer cannot derail their HEA.
The characters from the previous books in the series make appearances to keep things interesting. This can be read as a standalone but the experience would be enhanced by reading the previous instalments.
Such an enjoyable read with minimal angst, some feels and some drama all wrapped around a food filled romance, this is a book I highly recommend.

The overall story arc continues with twists and turns that keep things interesting and intriguing. Quinn and Rowan finds themselves as a pack within a pack striving to make things better for all. It doesn’t stop their witty banter/one liners/deadpan humour although it does put a dampener on the steamy times but they do manage to squeeze in some.
There’s a great balance between the comedy and action elements that keep the plot flowing, a bit of angst, a cardboard box and the dilemma and hilarity of shifting whilst fully clothed.
The larger pack is ready to continue the battle in the third and final book which is nicely set up at the end.
This is not a standalone so please read book 1 first.

I enjoyed every moment of this book.
Aiden and Riley are just so wonderfully likeable and real. Riley can be clumsy and laugh at himself about it and so thoughtful towards others. Aiden is very intense and also awkwardly sweet.
They meet via an Outback Boys adventure weekend away and an initial spark of interest is lit. A delightful romance begins as they spend time together, the initial spark burns brighter each time they get together and soon ignites into steamy times. The journey to an HEA is not all smooth surfing and paddle boarding. All is made right with open communication and an acknowledgement and acceptance of past struggles.
The side characters keep things interesting especially Aiden’s Pop who always made me giggle.
A truly enjoyable, engaging, well written book with minimal angst, scenes that left me giggling and others that gave me all the feels.

Cute and sweet with no angst. A quick, light fluffy read.
