Cosplay with lots of snark!
This was such an enjoyable read. Two strong, sarcastic, funny and very likeable characters who loathe each other but still hook up a few times a year.
Edward was introduced in the first book and he’s still rather dramatic, aloof and in love with making cosplay costumes. Izzy is a tattoo artist with bite but can be very charming and enjoys cosplay as a hobby. They definitely did not have a meet cute but the hate fuelled hooks up begun there and then and continued for a few years.
It was interesting and fun watching the development of the characters as the relationship progressed and emotions came into play. The snark and humour had me laughing and I was smiling as that continued on even after they were no longer enemies. Edward and Izzy did manage to wrangle their way to an HEA without too much drama or angst but there was certainly plenty of heat and just a touch of kink.
I loved every moment of this very engaging and enjoyable book and look forward to the next in the series. I also would encourage reading the series in order to fully appreciate the experience.

Quick enjoyable read.
Sweet instalove in Paris.
This is an easy, enjoyable read with two wonderful main characters in Felix and Arsène.
Felix is having a holiday in Paris and his best friends brother Arsène agrees to show him around.
Felix is a cute, vivacious, charming and has no filter at all. Arsène is older, a flirt and a world renowned photographer. There’s is a case of sweet, no angst instalove with no drama on the way to their HEA.
This is a quick, easy to read age gap romance with witty banter and lots and lots of steam.

Lucy Lennox surely knows her craft. This is another well written book with perfect pacing, seamless plot formation, strong character development and with everything so well balanced I just couldn’t help but be lost in her story telling ability.
Tiller and Mikey danced around their white hot chemistry for many years due to having a boss/employee relationship and also factoring in that Mikey is the son of Tiller’s coach. When circumstances give them time alone together, without too many external influences immediately impacting them, they finally let the chemistry ignite and things certainly heat up from there. They eventually wrangle their way to a HEA but not without some career and family issues along the way.
This is a fantastic start to the Aster Valley series and I’m looking forward to the next instalment in April where two of the interesting side characters get their story told.

Vampire Daddy and human little are fated in this easy to read and very sweet instalove.
The introvert and the extrovert.
In book 5 of the series Aiden and Bryce get their story told. Aiden is a very prickly, introvert whilst Bryce is a full of sunshine, everyone is a friend extrovert. They are opposites but they do share a lot in common.
Circumstances pull them together and what fun it is seeing them get their HEA.
There’s a wonderful cast of side characters including Grandma Hannah who is hilarious. Next up is Eryk who is character just introduced and what a surprise he’s in for.

Two broken men finding love.
Nix is a recovering addict and Dawson is spiralling down to rock bottom from alcohol abuse. Both have demons, Nix has conquered his but Dawson hasn’t even acknowledged he has them. The road to their HEA is full of bumps and curves, some angst, drama and lots of feels. I loved the inner strength and conviction displayed by Nix to achieve his happiness and how Dawson was able to fight his way back to happiness.
I found this to be a very engaging, thoughtful read with drama, emotion, lots of heat and a wonderful cast of main and side characters.

A wonderful read!
This is the first full length novel in the series and it’s wonderful.
The author keeps the plot moving along at the right pace, the characters are well developed and it’s a very enjoyable well balanced book to read.
I found it very easy to connect with Luke and Sawyer. They are fallible and loveable, two strangers with an instant chemistry that is white hot when it explodes. There’s also a great cast of side characters that keep things interesting in this engaging and original take on the grumpy/sunshine, boss/employee trope.
I’m very much looking forward to further adventures at Bear Camp where clothing is very much optional!
Highly recommended.
