This is a sweet, enjoyable, start to a new series with wonderful main and secondary characters that kept things interesting.
There’s a bit of heat, no angst and amusing ugly Christmas sweaters.
I’m looking forward to more in the series.

This is the second book in the Magical Mates series and this time Brooks, a wolf shifter, is blessed in finding his fated mate Toby who is a human.
Toby has no idea that the existence of paranormal beings is real let alone the existence of fated mates so he does have some anxious moments.
These two very likeable main characters take their time in getting to know each other in this slow burn, sweet with a bit of heat romance.

I found this to be a very easy, enjoyable, low angst read with an engaging plot and a wonderful cast of characters to keep things interesting and humorous.
The overall story arc continues and I look forward to more in the series.

This is a sweet, easy to read and enjoyable story of two men from different worlds falling in love and finding their HEA. There’s minimal angst, no huge obstacles to negotiate, with lots of chemistry and steam between the two likeable main characters - Rafe and Parker.
Nic Starr has produced a lovely feel good read that’s a great way to fill in a few hours.

The old favourite fairytale of Hansel and Gretel gets brilliantly reimagined in this contemporary romance.
The two wonderful main characters, Hans and Chester, were childhood best friends who reconnect after many years apart. They would “double dare - super promise” each other and enjoy many adventures together. Their greatest adventure together, the road to a HEA, is low angst, sweet with heat and involves the novel use of candy canes and sweet treats.
An interesting cast of side characters add to the plot and the villain does get their comeuppance in the end. All these great characters are pulled together by the writing ability of Helen Juliet who has produced another easy, enjoyable and engaging retelling of a classic fairytale.

This was just what I needed. A low angst, true enemies to lovers city versus country read.
Easton and Lachlan’s chemistry was off the charts but it took a while for things to heat up as they truly hated each other. Both characters were wonderfully developed and I really enjoyed how Lachlan’s true character was revealed. Their story flowed along nicely and kept me engaged from the star.
After a few twists and turns they eventually got their HEA and I’m looking forward to seeing where this series goes next.
