Wonderful start to a new series.

These two authors have combined their writing talents to produce a wonderfully written hockey romance that flowed along so nicely that I couldn’t put it down.
Zach and Foster are just so easy to like. Zach is an adorable nerd who can be so oblivious at times but is strong enough to willingly step out of his comfort zone. Foster is not a typical dumb jock. He is a charmer who is also smart so caring when it comes to Zach.
Zach always had a bit of a crush on Foster and their chemistry bubbles along quietly until the spark ignites and the heat rises.
This is a very sweet, enjoyable read with only the barest touch of angst. If you enjoy a story where the adorable nerd and the charming jock find love, then I highly recommend this book.

This is a wonderful, slow burn in which Killian and Shepherd took a very long road to get to their HEA. A road that’s filled with all sorts of bumps and obstacles including very bad men doing very bad things. I enjoyed how this side of the story was slowly revealed piece by piece as the romance progressed.

I started out really questioning the character of Shepherd, not even sure that I liked him, but the author very skilfully revealed his truth and I couldn’t help but love him as much as I loved Killian. These two men have lots of baggage which leaves them both feeling so very broken so there’s not a lot of steamy moments but when they do happen, it’s poignant, tender and so very meaningful.

All the twists and turns kept me flicking page after page desperately needing to know what would happen next and how Killian and Shepherd would beat the insurmountable odds. All the while keeping up their witty banter, sense of humour, irrepressible human spirit and looking after a supposed “monster” of a dog!

I loved every moment of this book and highly recommend it.

Absolutely hilarious start to a new series.

For the first time ever I counted the number of highlights I made in a book. There are 63. That’s 63 times that this superbly written story made me laugh out loud, giggle and/or snort. Add in an original plot line with suspense, action, drama, steam, lots of witty banter, sarcasm and a mountain of hilarity and it’s one of the best books I’ve read. I couldn’t put it down.
The two MC’s, Finn and Marcus are so much fun and very easy to love. They have so much chemistry between them but, of course, there’s always an obstacle or two to overcome.
Finn is human, short, charming and loved by all. Marcus is a grumpy, short tempered, older vampire who is respected by his peers but maybe not so much liked by them. When they are partnered together in the Vampire Related Crimes Unit it’s definitely not love at first sight.
After some hilarious nicknames, ridiculous flirting attempts, dating demands that include roller skating, dancing that defies description and amongst other things, a spelling bee moment, Finn and Marcus do get their HFN.
This is the first book in the Vampire Related Crime series and I’m really looking forward to what the amazing mind of Alice Winters gives us next.

This was a lovely way to spend a few hours. Liam and Red sure do have a bit of history about them and they’ve never been able to let it go, even if ten years have passed. Liam has a few issues that he carries around with him and Red feels that his bar, staff and patrons are enough to keep him happy.
When Liam walks back into his life, the chemistry reignites and they both try to fight it. Once they stop fighting it, the heat and steam rise.
There’s some drama from an ex, minimal angst, interesting side characters and just enough feels to keep the pages turning

Couldn’t put it down!

Jude, Cope and the team from West Side Magick are back to solve another engaging ghostly mystery with lots of plot twists, turns and intrigue to keep you flipping the pages.
Cleverly weaved into this are moments of utter sadness, shining happiness, enduring love and a beautiful future. This well paced, well written story had my emotions going back and forth, ending with a huge smile on my face.
The chosen family pop in and out, we get to enjoy some baby birthday parties while Jude and Cope discover the joys of The Backdoor Boogie!

Rating 4.5 stars.

Beautiful feel good romance.

This wonderfully talented author has delivered a well crafted story, written with great sensitivity, that just flows along at the perfect pace that kept me turning the pages.
Henry and Jaden are very likeable, have instant chemistry and share some sweet tender moments before jumping into the steamy times. Both characters are well developed and it’s lovely watching their growth as the story evolves. They both have hurdles to overcome and these aren’t quickly glossed over and easily solved. What they are is a part of their HEA.
This is a low angst feel good romance about living your authentic life the best you can.
This can be read as a standalone and I highly recommend it.

A sweet slow burn romance.

Another well written instalment of the series with two very likeable main characters. Maverick is just so caring and gentle towards the strong but scared Jonah who is carrying a lot of baggage around with him. All this with his gorgeous baby daughter Grace taking top priority.
The great storyline was all about their romance, which was instant chemistry that developed as a slow burn with a dash of suspense thrown in. It kept me fully engaged and turning the pages. The slow burn romance really helped Maverick and Jonah develop their connection to each other and once ignited, the steam levels rise accordingly.
Jonah’s past comes back to haunt him but he’s not alone this time with all his new chosen family of Hells Ankhor members with him.
I did want to give Maverick and Jonah a slight nudge at times but they finally got their own HEA.
Another enjoyable read in this series and I highly recommend it.

This is a well written age gap romance between the sunshine guy, Kyle and the grumpy older guy, Andy. It’s complicated seeing us Kyle is Andy’s sons best friend and that does lead to some angst later in the story. Adding to their issues is Andy’s bi awakening and how he handles that. So a lot going on that needs to be resolved before they get their HEA.
I really enjoyed the story arc and was fully engaged with the characters. Their chemistry is pretty much instant and when they gave into it the heat and steam levels certainly rose. So with a bit of angst, some feels, a dash of the dramatic and a side character setting the scene for the next book, it made for a very enjoyable read.
