Dude. I already liked this book a lot (as I do all Ali Hazelwood books), but then it turns out

the secret bad guy pulls a gun on Bee?????? Did I accidentally change into a Finlay Donovan book what’s going on???

I’m surprised I liked this one as much as I did but it just felt well rounded

This book was a slog for me. It took me over a month to read, which partially is due to factors outside of the book, but still the story didn’t really grab me. I still enjoyed it and I probably will listen to the sequel.

I think this might be my favorite Ali hazelwood book yet. I loved Rue how different she was from normal female leads. And it was really nice getting both perspectives in the love story. I was very invested in the Harkness vs Kline plot, even if it was obvious something was fishy from the start. The narrators for this book were also so good 100% would recommend the audiobook. 

I didn’t dislike this book, but I wasn’t as drawn to these characters as I was in Delilah Green. 

I don’t know if I liked this as a book but I do like it as porn. Turns out it’s pretty hot when someone calls you “sugar”.

I’m really happy with how this book turned out. For a long time it just felt like everyone was needlessly shitting on Delilah, but I’m glad her and Astrid were able to understand each others perspective. (Still feel like the way Delilah was treated outweighed anything she did to anyone else). I will be binging this series

I love love love these books. They keep me on my toes and are so exciting. I’m starting to really enjoy the cast of characters more and wish I could keep reading about them

This book was good but I wasn’t super obsessed with it.

I kind of felt like Layla’s freak out at the end came out of nowhere. Like I get that we need tension and stuff but it just seemed random.

really great sex scenes though

I'm tempted to relisten to this because I feel like the lower rating is more due to me not being able to focus on the story at times. I still enjoyed it! 

This book is so much more than a romance. I truly grew to love these characters and how their stories turned out. Alison Cochrun is so underrated, I hope more people come across this book and give it the love it deserves.
