The ending almost bumped this from 2.5 stars to 3.5 but eh, it didn't really.

Too much too much too much! And also somehow not enough? Pick and character and make us care about them! Pick a storyline and get us invested! When my focus is being pulled in 8 directions and I'm getting lost along the way, it's hard to get excited by any big 'reveals.' Shrug and thumbs up were my emojis of choice for this book. I have a google doc 4 pages long with unanswered questions...
