Took an unexpected and fun twist as we discovered who the true villain was. Would have liked a bit more insight into Peggy as a person - maybe via some flashbacks? Fun story and would love to see it continued. 

Yes Kelly Thompson, yes. Love this arc, love Carol’s contribution to this kind of uninteresting evil plant event. Love Lauri-Ell.

3.5 stars. Better than #1-5 of outlawed, but still just lacking. Mostly it bothers me because I love Kamala Khan so much in her own series, and this Kamala only barely resembles her. The art also bothered me because she looks too glamorous and not enough like the awkward high school girl she is. 

4.5 stars - love Mckelvie, love G. Willow Wilson, don’t care about Catwoman or Batman, lol. 

Bummed that this is how it all ends for Kamala - a huge buildup to nothing with Bruno, a big buildup to nothing with Amulet. None of the heartfelt scenarios with her family and friends. I miss G. Willow Wilson. 

I’m finding it really hard to pinpoint what exactly I so strongly disliked about this book. It had all the elements of something I should have enjoyed, but it just felt lacking. Magnus and Alec to be almost real, developed characters, but I think the flipping POV’s felt too disjointed and took me away from getting to know them and care about them. 2.5 stars. 

Very easy to read. Small anecdotes and stories from Felton’s life. Would have liked a little more substance. 

Best book I’ve read this year. Weir can make absolutely anything interesting and exciting. I honestly can’t share anything without spoiling the fun of this incredible book. Read it read it read it! 

I would die for Rocky.

I liked that this book was much more focused on the actual Ren Faire than the previous couple in the series, but overall the story still fell flat. Nothing compares to book 1. 

I flew through this book and loved every second. True character depth and growth and an actual love story that wasn’t completely contrived. Also inspired me to rediscover my love for fitness! Highly recommend.
