It was a pretty cut and dry book, but with a cute message. Although I turned the last page and said to my sister - and then they realized that they were literally stuck together for the rest of their short insect lives...

I really enjoyed this book. I know John Jacobson is an acquired personality, but I think he is doing great things for elementary music. His passion is inspiring.

I highlighted so many wonderful ideas from this book and I think it would be a great read for any other first year teacher (music or not) OR college education major.

Like an old, artistic Da Vinci Code. Not quite as thrilling, but I liked the romance.

Just read this book to my kindergarten music class this week - very cute and fun. My boys especially liked identifying the tools and all my kids were doing the motions and enjoying the fun sounds.

Don't love the illustrations, and the book is VERY small to hold - hard for my kids to see the pictures really well.

Simple illustrations - not easy to sing along to for a music class as you have to turn the pages so quickly.

Very cute - kindergarteners and 1st graders loved this one right before Halloween.

Love the illustrations, love sharing this classic song at Thanksgiving time with my students.

This book is GORGEOUS. I loved going through the details on each page to discover each of the gifts as they became more intricate. And my students loved it as well!
