I enjoyed the Thieves Guild and hope we see more from them.
Also the anonymous support group was great.

There are no misses in this series. Slightly slower pace here but it absolutely paid off in the end.

4.5 - least favorite so far but I loved the murder mystery happening in this one.

This got so exciting! And I didn’t realize that basically everything I remember about the anime was just from volumes 1 and 2. So once I start volume 3 it’s all brand new territory for me.
Also the last panel of this one?? 🤣🤣🤣

I am typically ok with genre-bending by others. Heck, I just raved about the Emily Henry book that was almost more women’s lit than romance. But this one was too sad and too heavy for me. The love story was sweet, but this was a family drama first and foremost. Not what I wanted unfortunately, however well written it was.

Such a fun, original concept for a mystery series. A quartet of 70-80somethings gathering to ‘solve’ cold cases in their ample free time, then finding themselves caught up in a real life murder!
This book has so much heart and is endearing British. Red herrings right and left, and I can’t wait for more.

Sitting here in tears minutes after finishing this beautiful story and at a loss for words. I loved every moment.

“I find myself thinking that maybe every bit of heartbreak in life can be rearranged and used for something beautiful.”

Honestly just copy/paste my review for #3. I love murderbot, he is the best non-human/human.

I wish I hadn’t been so bored by this book. I wasn’t interested in the story or the characters or the premise, and I had to force myself to get through it. Has fantasy/scifi ruined romance for me?

I continue to be entranced by these cozy sci-fi novellas. Murderbot is learning what it means to be human, and the beauty and pain that comes with caring.
