Though this book is great to introduce the reality of bullying to young children, I found some of the characters unrealistic and one sided. Some of the characters I waited to get an explanation for because their actions seemed inexcusable but never got it.

This was a very good book. It really gave insight to the lives of homeless youth and the troubles they endure. I sort of wish that the ending was more in depth and we got to meet the stepfather because I think it wouldve really emphasized the message.

I loved this book. The writing is so honest and so beautiful. The plot is so well thought out with the climax and everything. I don't want to give too much away because this is one of those books you have to experience yourself.

Honestly, Vivian's part was great. It was engaging and well written but what ruined this books was Molly's character. I just felt like I was really struggling to have any sympathy for her let alone be engrossed in her life. There so much that could've been done with Molly's life and character and it seems like the author just disregarded tho opportunities.

This book has wayyyyyyy too many plotholes for it to keep my interest. It also very forgettable. The characters are meh, the plot meh. I really don't know where the writer was going with this but even the ~twist~ at the ending couldn't keep my interest. Unfortunately, awful.

The plot was interesting but Willow was... meh. I really didn't think she was anything special. Her defining characteristic was being....rude? Overall wasn't bad but wasn't amazing either.

I really did like most of the book but the ending ruined it for me. I feel like I was left hanging. There was no proper closure. It was very disappointing. I would still read it again though because Zusak is such a great author.

Very confusing and way too many plot holes. I wish more work wouldve been done on this novel because it was such an interesting idea and concept. Unfortunately, not for me.

WOW. This book was a roller coaster ride. It's one of those books that is a lot more maturely written than other YA novels. Not going to lie, when I started I was afraid that the writing was going to be shallow and completely ruin the subject matter but surprisingly that didn't happen. I really felt for the main character's conflict and how her loyalty to people was so ruined. Would recommend to everyone.

The MC was... annoying. I feel bad saying this because you're not supposed to say this about people in less fortunate places but the MC just didn't have any redeeming qualities. By the time your supposed to feel pity for her, I had already lost interest in having any connection to her. She ruined what could've been a compelling novel. It's a no from me.
